Writer, designer, developer, and more. But most importantly, I’m a problem solver.
I’ve worn many hats in my career, worked with many great clients in a variety of markets and industries. I’ve made a career out of being a generalist, a versatile communications professional who can quickly understand a marketing challenge and deftly apply a range of skills to get the job done.
Copywriter
Every marketing communications project, particularly internet, needs someone who can quickly decipher marketing language, product benefits, and quickly craft powerful, persuasive copy to fit in tight spaces. That’s what I do. This skill has always made me a very valuable player.
Graphic Designer
Since the early 90s, I’ve spent the bulk of my time creating stylish marketing communications for a wide range of clients. I am well versed in creating new brands as well as following brand guidelines and bringing them to life in a variety of the latest internet marketing interfaces.
WordPress Developer
I’ve been designing websites since 2002, but moved exclusively to WordPress in 2008 when this widely used platform was in it’s infancy. Since then, this awesome open source platform gave me the opportunity to develop sites independently. I now consider myself proficient with .css and .html, and am able to make changes to .php and javascript as needed to get the job done.
Brand Strategist
Last but not least, my early background as an agency copywriter prepared me to see the big picture, understand highly detailed marketing data and transform it into practical, actionable branding platforms. I can objectively separate fact from fiction, know the difference between features and benefits, and understand how to bring a brand to life.
